Biopolis is a biomedical R&D hub at One-North. It houses public biomedical research institutes and organisations engaged in drug discovery and clinical research. Buildings in Biopolis subzone comprises of Nanos, Genome, Helios, Chromos, Proteos, Matrix, and Centros (phase 1); Neuros and Immunos (phase 2); Synapse and Amnios (phase 3); Procter & Gamble Singapore Innovation Centre (phase 4) and Nucleos (phase 5).
Fusionopolis is an R&D hub for infocomm technology, media, physical sciences and engineering industries. Buildings in Fusionopolis comprise of Connexis South, Connexis North, and Symbiosis (phase 1); Innovis, Kinesis, and Synthesis (phase 2A); Solaris (phase 2B); Nexus@one-north (phase 3); Sandcrawler (phase 4) and Galaxis (phase 5).
Mediapolis is a hub for the infocomm, media, physical sciences and engineering sectors, playing a vital role in Singapore’s infocomm and media ecosystem. When fully completed, the hub will house a media ecosystem housing soundstages with green screen capabilities, digital and interactive media production, broadcasting and R&D facilities, digital media schools, business parks, work lofts and incubators etc. Mediapolis comprises MediaCorp Campus, Infinite Studios and Alice@Mediapolis.
Vista is the corporate and business support cluster at One-North, Vista houses grade A offices, hotels, retail and entertainment centre, and residential towers. It is the nearest to Buona Vista MRT station among all the subzones. Developments in Vista subzone include The Star Vista, GSK Asia House, Ministry of Education Headquarter and Metropolis, a pair of Grade A office towers (23 storeys and 21 storeys), offering a total of 110,000 square metre of office space.
JTC LaunchPad @ one-north is a hub for startups and enablers in the biomedical sciences, infocomm, media, electronics, urban solutions and engineering industries. It comprises 71, 73 and 79 Ajay Rajah Crescent.
Pixel, close to Fusionopolis and LaunchPad, is a 5,000 sqm building that caters to digital media content creators, owners and games developers to foster cross sector collaborations in content creation, delivery and commercialisation.
Nepal Hill is a hub for leadership training and talent development, it houses business schools (ESSEC Business School), corporate universities (Unilever Four Acres Campus), and professional service companies in the talent development space.
Wessex, nestled amidst the lush greenery off Portsdown road, is a residential area within one-north, comprising 26 blocks of colonial style walk-up apartments and 58 semi-detached houses built in the 1940s. Residences in the estate are given priority for those working in the one-north region.
Connectivity in One-North is excellent. Served by two MRT train stations, the Bouna Vista Station (an interchange station connecting East-West line and Circle line) and One-North Station, as well as three shuttle bus routes, i.e. the One-North Rider, commenters will find it a breeze to travel to and from One-North from other parts of Singapore as well as traveling around different subzones within One-North.
