Asia Square Tower 1

Asia Square Tower 1 is a 43 storey Grade A building  situated at the new downtown / Marina Bay sector situated on 8 Marina View, adjacent to the iconic Marina Bay Financial Centre.  Asia Square Tower 1 has a typical floor area of 33,000 sq ft. It was officially opened on 8 November 2011 by Emeritus Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong.  Together with Tower 2, Asia Square is one of the landmark developments in Singapore’s new Central Business District, Marina Bay. It boasts a five-star hotel with 280 rooms and 60,000 square feet of retail and Food & Beverage space in addition to its office floors. It also features ‘The Cube’, a unique open public space of 100,000 square feet. Asia Square was designed to be one of the region’s most energy-efficient commercial developments to meet current and future demands for environmentally sustainable green office space. It has received the  U.S. Green Building Council LEED Platinum CS (core & shell). Asia Square is connected with an underground train network having the Downtown Station directly linked to Asia Square and 3 other MRT stations nearby. Some of the other office buildings close to Asia Square include Marina Bay Financial Centre, One Raffles Quay and Marina One.
